Receiving a Brownie camera as a child sparked Patti's lifelong interest in capturing the wonderful images of life on film. Her passion was put on hold as she pursued a career in nursing, married and raised three daughters.

In the early 90s multiple sclerosis ended her nursing career, put her in an electric wheelchair and left her unable to hold or operate a camera. A decade later the disease relented somewhat and, in September 2007, Patti equipped herself with an incredible new Canon and enrolled in a fine art photography course at the Ganaraska Art in Port Hope, On.

Finding inspiration in the work of Canadian photographer Freeman Patterson, fuelled by her relationship with God Patti finds beauty everywhere she looks, and captures wonderfully awe inspiring images to share with the world.

Patti's work was shown in the 2008 SEEUS Northumberland Photography Festival and she recently participated in the Art de Triomphe Exhibition and Sale, showcasing the work of triumphant Northumberland artists with disabilities.
